Despite the fact that Madeleine kept putting her open palm out to start a seance and golfers had to hit tee shots through the sizzling high voltage power lines crossing the 4th fairway, everyone had a good time for a good cause.

THE WINE & GOLF EVENT (IN LIVING COLOR)
A few friends of the Journalism Department got together August 8, 2015 to launch the Eastern News 100th Anniversary celebration at the Wine & Golf Event.
Despite the fact that Madeleine kept putting her open palm out to start a seance and golfers had to hit tee shots through the sizzling high voltage power lines crossing the 4th fairway, everyone had a good time for a good cause.

MINI REUNION WRIGLEY
Our D.C. Power Couple, Dru Sefton and Andy Savoie, returned to sane civilization of Northern Illinois to visit family and friends. Of course, Andy was drawn to the penance of his baseball cathedral to watch his team. In a typical roller coaster Cub Victory fashion, we took in the game above the annoyingly loud noise of the new scoreboard speakers. And Dru found out that Doreen was also at the game, somewhere in the mass of humanity in the lower deck!
Dru and Andy, post-victory.
